Meta Pixel tracking

Your Meta Pixel fires on every Tokei promotion page automatically. Visitors who see your giveaway — whether they enter or not — become retargetable. Entrants who convert feed your lookalike audiences. One Pixel ID, zero code changes.

What it does

When you add your Meta Pixel ID to your Tokei account, the tracking code loads automatically on every public promotion page you publish — contests, landing pages, sweepstakes, all of them.

The Pixel fires a PageView event on load and reports activity back to your Meta Events Manager. No code injection, no tag manager setup, no manual placement.

Why track giveaways

A giveaway page gets traffic you paid for — through ads, influencer posts, or social promotion. Without pixel tracking, that traffic is invisible to your ad platform. You can't retarget it, you can't measure it, you can't build audiences from it.

The Meta Pixel closes that gap. Someone visits your giveaway page from a Facebook ad? Now they're in your retargeting audience. Someone enters and provides their email? That's a conversion event feeding your optimization algorithm.

Retargeting

Visitors who didn't enter become a retargetable audience. Show them a reminder ad.

Lookalikes

Entrants feed a conversion audience. Build lookalikes from people who actually engaged.

Optimization

Conversion data improves ad delivery. Meta optimizes for people like your entrants.

How it works

One field: your Meta Pixel ID. Find it in Meta Events Manager under your data source settings. Paste it into your Tokei account, and the pixel loads across all your promotion pages.

Setup in 60 seconds

  • 1Open Meta Events Manager → Data Sources → your Pixel → Settings.
  • 2Copy your Pixel ID (a numeric string like 123456789012345).
  • 3In Tokei: Account Settings → Tracking → paste your Meta Pixel ID.
  • 4Save. The pixel now fires on every public promotion page.

Retargeting audiences

The highest-intent audience you can build from a giveaway: people who visited but didn't enter. They saw your offer. They were interested enough to click. They just didn't convert yet.

A retargeting ad that reminds them the giveaway is still open — or that the deadline is approaching — converts at rates dramatically higher than cold traffic. The Pixel makes this audience available in your Meta Ads Manager automatically.

Privacy considerations

The Meta Pixel is subject to ad blockers and Apple's ATT framework. Some visitors won't be tracked. That's expected — your audience will still be large enough to retarget effectively if you're driving meaningful traffic.

Common questions

Do I need to add code to my pages?

No. Tokei injects the Pixel automatically on all promotion pages. You just provide the Pixel ID.

Does it track entries as conversions?

The Pixel fires a PageView event on page load. Entry tracking can be configured through Meta's custom event setup — see the full docs for details.

Will ad blockers affect tracking?

Some visitors with ad blockers or strict privacy settings won't be tracked. This is standard for any client-side pixel and affects all advertisers equally.

Can I use this with the Conversions API?

The Tokei integration uses the client-side pixel. For server-side event deduplication via the Conversions API, contact support.
