Telegram Sharing

Let participants forward your promotion into Telegram groups and channels — strong reach in crypto, gaming and developer communities.

What This Is

Telegram is a sharing destination, not a standalone entry action. There is nothing to add from the Entry Methods tab — you enable Telegram in the Social Sharing group and participants earn the Social Share entry by forwarding your link.

Telegram's advantage is group size. One share into an active channel can put your promotion in front of thousands of people at once, which is why it consistently over-performs for crypto, gaming, developer-tool and early-access campaigns.

Enabling Telegram Sharing

Telegram sharing is a toggle in the Promotion tab of the promotion editor.

Quick Start

  1. Open the Promotion tab in your promotion editor
  2. Find the Social Sharing group
  3. Switch on Telegram
  4. Set the entry value for Social Share
  5. Save and preview your page to check the buttons render

Tip: if your own community already lives on Telegram, announce the promotion in your channel first. Members who share it onward do the rest of the work for you.

How Sharing Works

All sharing buttons post the same link: your promotion's own URL, or your campaign URL when you have set one and switched it on. The share opens in a new window with the destination pre-filled where the platform supports it.

Sharing is trust-based and awards points once. No platform lets a third party confirm that a share actually went out, so the entry is credited when the participant completes the hand-off.

Note: sharing is a single Social Share action with per-platform toggles, not one action per platform. Turning on more platforms gives participants more ways to share the same link — it does not multiply the points on offer.

  • Group forwards reach far more people per share than a WhatsApp message
  • Check your promotion's preview card renders correctly — Telegram shows a rich link preview
  • Pair with Discord Join when your community spans both platforms

Availability

Available on Contest, Gamify and Promote pages. On a Landing page, sharing only appears once the visitor has signed up.
